The Spirit will celebrate both fans and college students with special giveaways and activations in the final regular season home match of 2023

 

2023 Matchday Information

 

Washington, D.C. (10/11/2023) – The Washington Spirit concludes the 2023 NWSL regular season at Audi Field by celebrating the true force behind the team – the fans. Sunday’s Fan Appreciation and College Night match against the North Carolina Courage will be exciting from beginning to end. Not only will the match have significant ramifications on the 2023 NWSL Playoffs picture but will be filled with special giveaways and activations for fans to enjoy.

 

Upon entry Heavily discounted, $2 beers will be made available on the concourse and Spirit Supporter Groups will be able to partake in a happy hour prior to the match. Both promotions will be available while supplies last.

 

Additionally, brand new merchandise can be found at merch stands throughout the concourse, including a Spirit-branded scarf – the Item of the Game – and hoodies and t-shirts in an exciting new color. Merchandise discounts will be applied to any season ticket members.

 

Spiritville, the fan experience hub on the East Concourse, will be enhanced with two caricature artists and a large fan zone activation from ESPN Radio 630 DC. At the ESPN Radio setup, fans can enter to win a Washington Spirit jersey giveaway, collect ESPN 630 SWAG items, and enjoy Nintendo Switch games.

 

Colleges around the DMV will be heavily represented at Audi Field on Sunday. Morgan State University band will perform inside Gate A from 3:30 to 4:45 and will be joined by college mascots from the area, including George Washington University’s “George the Revolutionary” and Marymount University’s “Bernie the Dog.”

 

At Gate B, a group of 85 University of Maryland students will perform as fans enter Audi Field. Close by, college groups like Marymount University Student Government and Georgetown Acapella Group will be tabling in the Community Corner.

 

Before the match, turn your eyes onto the field as the Georgetown GraceNotes perform the National Anthem, with ASL translation from Gallaudet University and Color Guard support from George Mason University ROTC. Events DC President and CEO, Angie Gates, will serve as the Spirit’s honorary captain and will be honored before kickoff. From 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. EDT, the Spirit will host a pre-game Fan Fest at Dacha Beer Garden in Navy Yard – an experience you won’t want to miss!

Tickets start at just $15 for Sunday’s match against the North Carolina Courage. As always, the Spirit’s expanded premium seating brings fans pitch side for an unparalleled experience.

Back by popular demand, $99 Unlimited Food & Drink Club tickets continue for the final game of the season. Main Concourse

On the East Concourse, Spiritville returns with a FIFA Lounge, allowing fans to play as their favorite Spirit players. The kid’s zone, where the youngest fans can safely play on a soft play area or enjoy foosball, face painters, a kick zone, a chalkboard mural and more, will be expanded for this match.

 

Guest Services

Introduced this season for the first time at Audi Field, the Washington Spirit, in partnership with D.C. United, introduced a Mamava nursing pod this season for parents on the East Concourse. The private, sanitary space provides comfortable seating and power outlets for pumping equipment. Keyless entry and vacancy alerts are available by downloading the Mamava app.

 

New this season, fans are able to communicate with Audi Field officials via text with any questions, concerns or emergencies at the following number: 202-918-3838. All ticketed fans will also receive a post-match survey following each game to allow the club to offer continual improvements on the matchday experience.

 

Parking

Additional parking will be made available for guests at the GEICO Parking Garage on 1500 South Capitol Street SE, Washington, D.C, 20003. The garage will open at 3:00 p.m. and will close approximately one hour after the event. There will be 600 spaces to be utilized on a first come, first serve basis and will cost guests $50. No tailgating will be allowed, and only credit/debit is accepted.
