The Washington Spirit will host their second and final winter tryout for the 2013 USL W-League and Super-20 teams next Saturday January 12th at the Maryland Soccerplex in Boyds, MD. Tryouts are slated to run from 8:00AM to 10:00AM on Soccerplex Field #20. Players must register in order to participate in trials.
With the addition of a professional team for 2013, the W-League squad will become a primary proving ground for players to prove themselves capable of deserving a shot at the pros. The W-League team will carry the name “Washington Spirit Reserves” and will train frequently alongside the professional team. The Super-20 team will serve the region’s top college-bound and active college players who still have several years left before graduation from the college game.
If you would like the opportunity to play for one of these teams in 2013, fill out the form below and attend our 1-day trial on Saturday, January 12 at the Maryland SoccerPlex (field #20) from 8:00 am – 10:00 am.
Players are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes prior for check-in, warm-up, and stretching.
If you are interested in one of these teams, but cannot attend, please fill out the form anyway, and simply skip the registration fee step at the end. A member of the coaching staff will be in touch in the next few weeks.
If you have already attended a trial in the past year for us, D.C. United Women, or you were a rostered player on a D.C. United Women’s team in 2012, you also do not have to make another $50 payment. Fill out the form so we know you’re coming, then skip the payment step at the end.
