At Saturday’s home opener, the Washington Spirit Shop debuted the 2024 Cherry Blossom capsule designed by the Spirit’s first creative Director, Domo Wells. A fan favorite every season, the collection honors the District’s beautiful blooms which take over the city each Spring.
“Anchored in a floral aesthetic that represents facing challenges in order to grow, we lead with Dead Dirt’s design language with a sporty twist,” explained Wells. “Printing florals updated to fit the cherry blossom palette along the sleeves throughout the collection.”
Fans who attended the Spirit’s win over Bay FC on Saturday had the first opportunity to shop the nine-piece collection, buying sweatshirts, t-shirts, hats, and tote bags. After selling out the stock in-stadium, the Spirit Shop has now made the collection available online. Due to overwhelming demand, orders are expected to ship in early to mid-April.
