BOYDS, Md. (Mar. 6, 2015) – The Washington Spirit announced today that forward Natasha Harding, whose P-1 Visa application was denied, will not be joining the Spirit in the upcoming 2015 NWSL season.
“It is very sad news, but we will continue to keep Natasha in our plans to possibly join us at some point in the future,” Spirit general manager and head coach Mark Parsons said. “As a result, we will be exploring our options moving forward and hope to announce two new international signings soon.”
The Washington Spirit will begin its 2015 season on the road facing the Houston Dash on Friday, April 10 at BBVA Compass Stadium. The Spirit will make its home debut against FC Kansas City at Maureen Hendricks Field the following weekend on Saturday, April 18 at 7 p.m.
