Boyds, MD (November 1, 2017) – Washington Spirit forward Francisca Ordega made her debut with Atletico Madrid on Sunday night, helping the Spanish league champions earn a 1-1 draw against Barcelona.

The 24-year-old Nigerian international, who has joined the Spanish side on loan for the NWSL offseason, came on for Ludmila da Silva in the 72nd minute, logging 18 minutes of playing time.

Ordega and Atletico will continue Primera División de la Liga de Fútbol Femenino competition against Madrid CFF on Sunday, November 5.
