2009: Called in to train with full U.S. Women’s National Team in December after a stellar senior season at Stanford…U.S. Young Female Athlete of the Year finalist for the second year in a row…member of U.S. U-23 Women’s National Team. 2010: Earned her first three senior team caps, debuting against Mexico on March 28 in San Diego. 2011: Played in four matches, starting one, that coming against Canada in January at the Four Nations Tournament in China, ultimately resulted in a USWNT tournament win … Was an alternate on the Women’s World Cup Team but made the final squad due to an injury to Lindsay Tarpley and ended up playing in one game, coming on as a substitute in the USA’s final group match against Sweden, ultimately resulting in a FIFA Women’s World Cup runner-up…Algarve cup winner. 2012: Played in 26 games and started 25, more than tripling her cap total from the previous two years … Showed excellent attacking abilities down the flank and had five assists on the year, including one to Megan Rapinoe in the Olympic semifinal victory against Canada… One of three players to play every minute of all six matches at the Olympics, ultimately winning a gold medal for Team USA… Played in three matches at the CONCACAF Olympic Qualifying tournament in Canada, picking up three assists … Those were her first three starts of her career at outside back. 2013: An ankle injury and subsequent surgery limited her to 561 minutes in just seven matches, but she started six…Algarve cup winner. 2014: Played in 12 games, starting four over 529 minutes and surpassed 50 caps, becoming the 47th player in U.S. history to reach that mark … Played in two matches, starting one, at the CONCACAF Women’s Championship to help the USA earn its Women’s World Cup berth. 2015: A member of the 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup champions in her second World Cup, she didn’t play in the first four games of the tournament then stepped up huge, starting the quarterfinal against China PR (which was her first WWC start) and then made a major impact in coming off the bench in the semifinal and championship game… Her first career WNT goal was one to savor and one of the most memorable goals of the tournament as she tallied in the semifinal against Germany, volleying home a cross from Carli Lloyd in the 84th minute to clinch the 2-0 victory… Played 697 minutes in 17 matches in 2015, starting eight games, and also had two assists… Helped the USA win its 10th Algarve Cup title in Portugal in March… Algarve Cup winner. 2016: Appeared in an international friendly against Romania for an 8-1 win in November 2016… Assisted Carli Lloyd in a first-half goal against Switzerland in an October 2016 International friendly for a 5-1 win… Assisted Christen Press at Rio Tinto Stadium in an international friendly against Switzerland for a 4-0 win… started in an international friendly match against Thailand in September 2016… Started in all 2016 Rio Olympic matches, losing in the quarterfinals against Sweden… Started in international friendlies against Costa Rica, South Africa, Japan during the summer… scored a first-half goal in 2016 CONCACAF Women’s Qualifying match against Puerto Rico in February 2016… third consecutive USWNT win in CONCACAF tournament. 2017: Started against Canada in back-to-back games in November 2017…Started against New Zealand in October 2017, where she assisted Lynn William’s 55th-minute goal…Started and wore the captain’s armband in a match against in September 2017 match against New Zealand…Started in all three Tournament of Nations matches, resulting in a USWNT second consecutive win in the final versus Japan…Started in international friendlies against Russia, Sweden…appeared in an international friendly against France in March 2017. 2018: Called to represent USWNT in a friendly against Denmark in January 2018, where she played all 90 minutes… Rostered to play in the SheBelieves Cup in March 2018. 2019: Selected to the United States Women’s National Team for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup where she played in six matches totaling 492 minutes… Named to the FIFPro World Best XI after her performance for the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup-winning United States. 2020: Played in seven USWNT matches… started five and totaled 471 minutes… 2021: Started eight of nine matches… Named to the USWNT Olympic roster in Tokyo… Started five matches during the Olympics. 2022: Named to the January Camp roster.
