PK – Official Washington Spirit Mascot!

Full Name: Penelope Kix (goes by “PK”)

Backstory: PK was first drawn to the Spirit when she was flying overhead and heard the roar of the #SpiritNation! Ever since, PK has been the Spirit’s number-one fanatical flapping fan. PK is the ultimate Spirit supporter, you can tell by her blue and white feathers! PK is always repping the Spirit in her custom-made home kit. PK might be new to the #SpiritNation, but she can’t wait to represent the Spirit as the official club mascot!

About PK: Although PK is a fun-loving and friendly Eagle, she can sometimes get super competitive, especially when it comes to playing her favorite sport – Soccer! Despite loving the game of soccer and watching the Spirit at every home game, eagles aren’t great at soccer, and PK is no exception. When PK isn’t busy helping the Spirit Squadron cheer on the team, she’s known to spend her time helping out the community at schools, hospitals, and of course, soccer events!

Hobbies: PK loves cheering on the Spirit, hanging out at the Spirit training camps, and being out and about in the DMV community!

Want to schedule an appearance from PK?

Bring added fun and excitement to your next event with the addition of Penelope Kix (PK), the official mascot of the Washington Spirit. PK attends fundraisers, charity functions, school events, soccer tournaments and other community gatherings. 

In order to be considered for a mascot appearance, please note the following guidelines and procedures:

• Requests must be made at least three (3) weeks prior to the event date.
• Appearances on match days cannot be considered, as the responsibility of the mascot prioritizes for the team on this day.
• Requests submitted via email, phone, mail, or fax will not be considered.

All appearances are subject to availability and approval of the team. All correspondence will be made via email; please do not call or email directly regarding status updates.
