The Washington Spirit announced today that group ticket sales are available for their 2013 National Women’s Soccer League home season at the Maryland SoccerPlex Stadium.
Before they kick off the National Women’s Soccer League season with the Washington Spirit, three players have a little trip to make. Midfield/forward Colleen Williams and forwards Tiffany McCarty and Stephanie Ochs were named to the U.S. Under-23 Women’s National Team, and they’ll travel with the squad from Feb. 22-March 5 to play against Norway, England and Sweden in La Manga, Spain.
Today we announced the addition of two matches against Duke and Maryland, completing a five-game series against top college opponents that will help prepare the Spirit for their April 14 National Women’s Soccer League season opener at the Boston Breakers.
The Washington Spirit Reserves begin their campaign under the national spotlight by hosting the New York Magic in the 2013 season opener on Saturday, May 11th at the Maryland Soccerplex.
