New-look Spirit hub will make keeping up with the club easier than ever

Washington, D.C. (06/06/2023) – The Washington Spirit has launched its new and improved online home, making it easier than ever to follow the club all year long, the club announced today. Still located at www.WashingtonSpirit.com, the new site is built to feature our athletes in a bold way fostering more engagement and deeper storytelling around the club. The sleeker, more intuitive design also will help reduce friction for finding exactly what the fan needs, quickly. Indicative of the club’s aim to continue to place itself on the cutting edge of the way professional sports organizations operate, the new site now sets the standard for sporting team websites.

“We are obsessed with raising the bar for our fans and our players and building this new site was a priority,” said President of Business Operations Emma May. “Our website is one of the most important tools we have to share club information and to communicate with our fans. We now have a professional site that is accessible to use and fans can easily find all the information they need – – ticket information, promotions, news, community activities,– they can even learn our Supporter chants!”

Designed in collaboration with award-winning digital design agency Kurt Noble Inc. (KNI), the new Washington Spirit website sets itself apart from the average team site. Web & Email Marketing Manager Emily Reinwald shares “Departing from the traditional cookie cutter club template, the new Spirit site prides itself on having an optimal user interface. Fans will notice a more accessible and thorough journey while navigating their favorite club’s site, an experience befitting a premier organization.” Other notable companies that KNI has worked with include Google, Adobe, Audi and HBO.

The newly-designed home page presents a countdown to the Spirit’s next match, complete with information on how to watch. Roster pages now feature links to players’ social media pages, the media coverage they have received and even directly to the Spirit Shop where you can purchase a replica of their matchday jersey.

The schedule page makes information even more readily available with theme nights and ticketing details front and center. Fans can also filter the schedule based on home, away, regular season, UKG NWSL Challenge Cup, completed and upcoming matches with ease. Also simpler than ever is finding information on tickets to home matches at Audi Field. The new ticketing page provides easy navigation to details about season memberships, single match tickets, premium seating, groups and more.

The community section showcases the club’s important partnerships throughout the community including supporters groups, community impact partners, and alliance youth club partners. The new and improved matchday guide page provides fans everything they need to know for a great fan experience at Audi Field. Here, fans will find information on transportation, accessibility, mobile ticketing and more.

The club announced this past offseason that all 14 home matches will be played for the first time at Audi Field in Buzzard Point, ensuring players and fans alike access to a facility befitting a professional club. Fans can secure tickets now to all remaining 2023 home matches with a season membership. Available here, the season membership grants fans access to priority seating, an exclusive Trinity Rodman bobblehead, invitations to special events throughout the season and more. Single game tickets are also available here.
