Washington, D.C. (02/03/22) – Six Washington Spirit players have been called up by the USWNT to compete in the SheBelieves Cup. Veteran USWNT members Kelley O’Hara and Emily Sonnett receive the call along with teammates Andi Sullivan, Ashley Hatch, Ashley Sanchez, and Aubrey Kingsbury.
Kingsbury will be looking for her first appearance with the USWNT after a number of call ups and another strong NWSL season. All six of the call ups participated in the two week long training camp in late January.
U.S. Soccer hosts its seventh annual SheBelieves Cup in two locations from February 17-23, and welcomes New Zealand, Czech Republic, and Iceland. The tournament will be broken into two doubleheaders.
