Leesburg, Va., (02/26/21) – The Washington Spirit and Sandy Spring Bank are proud to announce the renewal of their sponsorship agreement that will run through the end of 2023. Sandy Spring Bank remains the Official Banking Partner of the Spirit.
Gretchen Hamm, Chief Growth Officer for the Spirit, said this about the partnership renewal, “As the Spirit continues to grow our presence and community commitment, we are so thrilled to have a true partner who shares these same values and joins us in a long-term sponsorship. The Spirit looks forward to exploring ways to hold a standard season this year, while taking all necessary precautions to protect the health and wellbeing of our players, fans, sponsors and employees.”
Sandy Spring Bank and the Spirit will continue working together with local community partners on projects and initiatives that will make a positive impact in the Washington, D.C. area. Last year, the two organizations partnered to support both Toys for Tots and Comfort Cases.
Sandy Spring Bank’s logo will be on the sleeve of the home and away kits for the Spirit and on in-stadium signage at Audi and Segra Fields.
