Boyds, MD., (02/16/21) – The Washington Spirit and Pepco are proud to announce the renewal of their sponsorship agreement for 2021.

As part of the sponsorship, Pepco will be the presenting sponsor for a panel discussion on diversity, racial inequality and social justice. Additionally, the two organizations will work together with the Spirit’s community partners on projects and initiatives that will make a positive impact in the Washington, D.C. area. Lastly, Spirit players will appear via video or in person for Pepco’s community initiatives throughout the year.

Gretchen Hamm, Chief Growth Officer for the Spirit, said the following about the partnership renewal: “We are delighted to have PEPCO return as a key sponsor for 2021. Their commitment to the community, values and goals align with the Washington Spirit beautifully.”
