Boyds, MD., (01/12/21) – Join the Washington Spirit for a week of service beginning on Sunday, January 17 continuing through Saturday, January 23 to connect our Spirit community through collective service in the places we call home. Once you have completed your service hours, please fill out this form to help us keep track of the scope of our collective impact.

Keep an eye on the Spirit social media pages during our week of service to see how our players, coaches, and staff are getting involved. Tag us in your photos on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram for a chance to be featured and be entered to win prizes.

In a year that has impacted so many around the world, we want to come together to take this opportunity to help those around us and we need your help. The activity can be anything from donating items to a food bank to cleaning up trash in a neighborhood to even volunteering with an organization.

If you are interested in helping out one of our community partners here at the Spirit, you can write letters to patients at St. Jude or donate to Dr. Bear’s Closet at Children’s National. At Comfort Cases, you can drop off items to be donated at their center or donate items from their wish list. And while DC Scores does not have any in-person events to volunteer at right now, you can donate to DC Scores to help kids continue to grow in Washington, D.C.
