Boyds, Md., (10/14/20) – The Washington Spirit will face off against Advanced Development Program College Players in a closed-door training match on Saturday, October 17 at 10 am ET at the Maryland SoccerPlex. The match will not be open to the public in any capacity. 

Players from the opposing team have been selected from the Spirit’s Advanced Development Program, a curriculum intended to bring together top players in the market at U17, U19 and U23 levels as part of an identification process for the Spirit’s Pro Pathway development model. 

Updates on the match, including the Spirit Starting XI, score updates and substitutions will be provided via the Washington Spirit twitter account.

The Spirit concluded play in the 2020 NWSL Fall Series on October 3 with a win over Sky Blue FC. The Spirit finished the Fall Series with a record of 2-1-1 (7pts) and a goal differential of +1. Washington finished in first place within the Northeast Pod, and currently sit in third place of the overall Fall Series standings with one matchweek remaining.
