Boyds, Md., (7/8/19) – Washington Spirit players Aubrey Bledsoe, Sam Staab and Andi Sullivan each earned places in the NWSL’s Team of the Month for their contributions in June. It was the second straight Team of the Month honor for each of the three players, who have been among the most consistent stars on the Spirit and across the league this year.

Aubrey Bledsoe
- 19 saves, three goals allowed in June
- Two clean sheets
- Leads the NWSL in saves for the season (49)
Sam Staab
- Played every minute of all four June games, has yet to miss a minute in her rookie season
- 20 clearances, five interceptions during the month
- Gained possession 21 times
Andi Sullivan
- 105 passes in the opposing half during June
- Won 57.4% of her duels for the month
- Has played every minute of the season so far as team captain
