Boyds, Md. (March 4, 2019) – The Washington Spirit is proud to announce the club’s 2019 Theme Nights and events taking place at the Maryland SoccerPlex during the upcoming NWSL season.
Theme Nights are an integral part of the Spirit’s commitment to bringing an atmosphere of exciting, family-fun, action to the SoccerPlex throughout the season. Along with the Fan Zone and upgraded concessions, the Spirit are revolutionizing what it means to be a part of the #SpiritFam.
This follows several recent major announcements which have set new standards for the club’s fan engagement and community presence, including: a new local TV broadcast agreement with Monumental Sports and NBC Sports Washington, the launch of the club’s new online store and several new Fan Experience initiatives.
“From day one I have said we are going to transform our fan experience with significant enhancements to all we do,” said Washington Spirit CEO Larry Best. “Our Monumental Sports and NBC Sports Washington broadcast agreement was the start. Next was the Fan Zone, improved concessions and in-seat service, and the launch of our online shopping. Today, we are announcing game themes for the first time. Details about these theme nights and other exciting news will soon follow. This party is just getting started!”
Season Memberships, single game tickets for all four Spirit preseason games and the regular season home opener against Sky Blue FC on April 13 are available now at Tickets.WashingtonSpirit.com.
Single-game ticket sales for all Spirit home games will be launched this week.
