Boyds, MD (October 2, 2017) – Washington Spirit goalkeeper DiDi Haracic has been nominated for NWSL Save of the Week for the 22nd week of the 2017 NWSL season.
Haracic earned the nomination this week for a diving save on a close range attempt by Seattle Reign FC’s Katie Johnson in the 51st minute of the Spirit’s season finale on Saturday night at the Maryland SoccerPlex. Haracic showed off her quick reflexes, making a mid-air deflection while diving to her left, turning away a shot heading just inside the post. [WATCH]
