Season tickets for the 2017 Washington Spirit home matches at the Maryland SoccerPlex are now available on the team’s official website. 2016 NWSL Championship Finalists have added seating options and ticketing features in response to fan feedback.
The 2017 National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) home slate for the Spirit will feature 12 regular season matches, up from 10 matches in 2016. Season ticket packages for the 2017 season will feature the best per-game price available and will include access to four preseason matches, a preseason meet-the-team event, and an end-of-season gathering with the players, among other benefits.
Other season ticket member benefits include priority seating selection and ticket add-ons to any hosted playoff games, a newly-designed 2017 team scarf, 10 percent discount on Spirit merchandise, free ticket exchanges and transfers to future games, and access to select game day special events.
Along with two additional regular season matches, expanded seating options and other added benefits, the 2017 Spirit season will also feature multiple new food and drink options around the concourse, as well as stadium-wide beer and wine sales for the first full season, and an expanded line of team branded merchandise.
Custom season ticket packages are available now for all six seating options. The club has partnered with TicketSocket as its official ticket platform, implementing a user-friendly “mobile-first design,” allowing fans to manage tickets and contact information from their private online account.
The Spirit’s traditional preseason schedule against the nation’s top college programs will be announced before the end of January, with the full NWSL season schedule expected to be released shortly thereafter. In 2017, the Spirit’s preseason will include at least one game hosted by the team at a yet to be named venue in Virginia in late March.
