BOYDS, Md. (May 10, 2016) – The Washington Spirit has signed a partnership with BODYARMOR, making it the Official Sports Drink of the team for the 2016 season. BODYARMOR, a premium sports drink with potassium-packed electrolytes, coconut water and vitamins – made with natural flavors, natural sweeteners and no artificial colors – will be available to all players in the team’s program from 10-year olds to the professional team.

As the Official Sports Drink of The Washington Spirit, BODYARMOR will be available in the lockeroom and on the sidelines to the team, reserves teams, and summer Super Y League youth academy teams for the entire 2016 season. BODYARMOR will also provide in-stadium sampling opportunities during Spirit home games. As part of the partnership, BODYARMOR will be the exclusive sports drink in team-run concession stands at Maureen Hendricks Field during all NWSL home games.
