The Washington Spirit has announced the 2015 Team Awards as follows.
Thanks for voting!

Defender of the Year: Megan Oyster
Fan Favorite: Ashlyn Harris
Golden Boot: Crystal Dunn
MVP: Crystal Dunn
Newcomer of the Year: Megan Oyster

CRYSTAL DUNN
Golden Boot and MVP

Crystal Dunn was awarded the NWSL Golden Boot for most goals scored in the regular season with 15 and was voted league MVP. She also led the league in shots (84) and shots on goal (48) to go along with three assists. Crystal won NWSL Player of the Week a record 6 times this season. A couple of her many season highlights include a first half hat trick against the Houston Dash at home and a late stoppage time goal against the Chicago Red Stars in Chicago, both performances giving the Spirit wins.

ASHLYN HARRIS
Fan Favorite

Ashlyn Harris has been a central figure on the Washington Spirit since its inception as the starting goalkeeper. Around her busy World Cup schedule, Harris started in nine games this season. Always doing what she can for her team, Ashlyn garnered extra attention for taking a throw in against the Houston Dash and dribbling the ball almost to midfield against FC Kansas City.

MEGAN OYSTER
Defender of the Year and Newcomer of the Year

Megan Oyster is one of the bright young stars for the team that the Washington Spirit picked up in the 2015 NWSL College Draft. Oyster was the only player for the Spirit to play every minute this season as she made her presence felt in the center back position. Megan scored her first professional goal in front of her hometown crowd when she headed a corner from Christine Nairn into the net against the Chicago Red Stars.
