Boyds, MD (October 23, 2017) – Washington Spirit midfielder Tori Huster will join Australian Westfield W-League side Newcastle Jets on loan during the NWSL offseason.

Huster will compete with Newcastle for the entirety of the 2017-2018 W-League season, which kicks off Friday, October 27 and runs through mid-February.

This will be the third NWSL offseason in which Huster has joined Newcastle on loan. She appeared in 12 games with the club during the 2012-2013 season, scoring four goals. After playing four games for Western Sydney Wanderers in the 2013-2014 campaign, she re-joined Newcastle in September 2014, scoring three goals in 12 games.

Huster, the longest tenured Spirit player, is coming off a 2017 NWSL season in which she appeared in 20 games, totaling 1,714 minutes during her fifth year with the club.

Huster will return to Washington prior to the start of the 2018 NWSL season.
