BOYDS, MD (May 15, 2017) – The Washington Spirit has officially launched the club’s mobile app, which is now available to download in both the App Store (iOS) for iPhone and Google Play store for Android.
The app provides direct access to Spirit’s latest news, upcoming game tickets, social media posts, and the team’s roster.
The app is free, and only requires registration to join the Loyalty Program, which rewards fans for executing a variety of tasks within the app, such as sharing links over social media or checking-in at the stadium, among others. There is also an instant reward that fans can claim at games just for downloading.
As Loyalty Points are accumulated, fans can reach membership levels of Silver, Gold or Platinum; which provide escalating levels of benefits, such as merchandise and ticket discounts. Fans who allow push notifications will also receive Flash Bonuses and Gifts the team chooses to push out from time to time.
The app has already been downloaded over 300 times from just a few social media posts since it became available early last week. In that time, hundreds of fans have already entered for a chance to win two Field Side seats to this Saturday’s home NWSL game vs. FC Kansas City, where newly signed Mallory Pugh is expected to debut. The contest runs through noon this Friday, and will be followed by a new contest where fans will have the chance to win an autographed, game-worn jersey.
