12 – Shots on goal for the Spirit, second-most in the NWSL
Washington has racked up 12 shots on goal through two regular season games, just behind Seattle Reign FC’s 13. The teams also take the top two spots in terms of shooting accuracy, with Seattle at 68.4 percent and Washington at 57.1 percent accuracy.
14 – Aubrey Bledsoe’s league-leading save total
In her first two regular season games with the Spirit, Bledsoe has been solid between the posts, recording a clean sheet and posting the league’s third-best save percentage (88%).
3 – Second half goals for Washington, leading the league
All three of the Spirit’s goals through their first two games have come in the second half. Meanwhile, North Carolina has also scored both of their goals in the second half, winning each of their first two games 1-0.
