Position: Assistant Coach, Fitness Coach
Kevin Boyle graduated from Syracuse University (SU) in ‘03 with a BS degree in Psychology and a minor in Exercise Science and completed his MS Degree in Exercise Science in May of 2012. Kevin is also certified by the NSCA as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, the NASM as a Performance Enhancement Specialist, and a Functional Movement Screening Level II specialist.
After 6 years as a Division I athlete/coach, Kevin joined Elite Performance (EP) in June of 2005 and became Director of the EP athlete training program in 2009. As Director, Kevin has had the privilege to collaborate with many of the top minds in the world in the field of strength and conditioning.
Kevin played soccer his entire life and had the opportunity to play for the U-17 English National Team Coach Graham Smith and make the Syracuse University Men’s Soccer team as a walk-on. He has trained thousands of elite soccer players for performance, including work with the 2012 Gold Medal USWNT, and he regularly consults with the exercise physiologists for the US and Canadian national teams.
Kevin joined the Washington Spirit staff for the 2013 season and played a critical role in conditioning, regenerating, and monitoring fitness levels of our athletes. Kevin continues his role as conditioning coach and also supports the team as an assistant coach.
