Ashley Spivey’s tremendous soccer career in the state of Maryland continued when she joined the Terps from nearby Sparrows Point, Md. in fall of 2012. Top Drawer Soccer’s No. 6 overall high school recruit broke onto the scene scoring five goals and adding three assists in her rookie campaign. Spivey was one of just two players to start all 23 games for the Terps, and her 13 points were good for third on the team.
In addition to her collegiate career, Spivey has been a member of the U14-U18 U.S. Women’s National Team pool, and played for the U17 World Cup Qualifying Team in Costa Rica in 2010. While at the McDonogh School, she was a two-time Maryland Gatorade State Player of the Year, three-time All-American and four-time All-Met selection by the Baltimore Sun.
