In just two seasons at women’s college soccer powerhouse Stanford, Alex Doll has emerged as a supreme talent up top for the Cardinals. After playing in 23 matches and starting just one as a freshman in 2011, Doll became one of the team’s go-to players in 2012. In her breakout sophomore season, Doll scored six goals and had three assists. Her 15 points were tied for third on the team.
In addition to her blossoming career at Stanford, Doll is a member of the U.S. Women’s National Team under-20 pool. She played for the U.S. at the CONCACAF U-17 Championship and was also a member of the national teams at the U-14 and U-15 levels. In high school, Doll was named 2010 Girls’ High School Scholar-Athlete of the Year by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America. She was also a two-time All-American, two-time Gatorade State Player of the Year for Maryland, and one-time Washington Post All-Met Player of the Year in 2010 after she helped lead Bethesda-Chevy Chase to its third straight state championship.
