SAMPLE OF 2013 SUMMER CAMPS
The NWSL Washington Spirit team is proud to offer new Spirit Academy Camps designed to develop aspiring youth soccer players. Each camp curriculum is managed by Spirit head pro team coach Mark Parsons and Academy director Danielle Malagari, and is conducted by Spirit staff coaches. Each morning kicks off with live Spirit player demonstrations so attending campers not only get to meet real Spirit players, they get to see for themselves up close how some of the world’s best do what they’re about to learn.
The camp program is designed to provide players with the opportunity to develop a strong technical base, creativity with the ball, and quick footwork. Spirit Academy Camps will focus on improving a positive mental attitude, which is important for being a great teammate on and off the field.
